Hi!

So this time around, I wanted to keep it simple, casual and chic. And, I tried out a different colour combination. Before, I would have never paired black pants with brown shoes/boots. It way always an either /or ย kind of situation. But when I moved to London, I noticed almost everyone rocking this combination with an air of confidence. And, I don’t know why, but seeing everyone pair these colours so effortlessly really made me want to try it. The result, of course, is this outfit. I paired a burgundy Forever 21 jacket with faux leather sleeves, black denims, brown boots and finished the look with a wine red scarf. Causal yet extremely stylish. As always, the colours are neutral and very versatile, and can give you a variety of looks by just swapping one piece for another. I wore this outfit for a night out with some friends to a pub crawl around London as well as earlier in the day for lunch meet with my friend. You can dress up the jacket with a button down, maybe even add a tie, or just wear it casually like I have here!

AS always, don’t forget to drop me a comment to let me know how you liked this post and also, drop me a line telling me about your black/brown colour combination experiences!

Until next time
