Shades of Gray

It has been a while since I last posted an outfit. Truth be told, I have been facing some technical difficulties with my website and even my tech team seems to be clueless on how to resolve this. And so, in my desperate attempt to do a post again, I have found an alternative route to keep you guys updated with the latest  outfits! IF you can’t see the other blog posts, I request you to cut me some slack until I can figure out just how we can circumvent this.

Now, on to the outfit. Shades of Gray is something I have been meaning to do for a while now, but the kind of weather we had here doesn’t really warrant the use of a jacket. Not to say that the weather presently upon us warrants the use of a jacket, but  I did this post a couple days ago when the weather gods decided to bless the city with some much needed rainfall! And that is where this jacket came in handy. Water resistant and wrinkle free, I threw on the jacket to kind of save my shirt and tie from the rain, but it ended up looking so good, I couldn’t resist doing a post! This look is really simple, clean and very versatile. If  I could use it for just one occasion, It would definitely  be for date night dressing.

A little different, this denim couture jacket from zara adds just the right amount of ‘thoughtfulness’ into your dressing that your date would really appreciate. keep the tie knotted loose and wear it with basics like the white shirt and blue jeans, and you’re all set to make  a killer impression! Silver is an extremely versatile color and is on trend this season. You could easily swap the blue jeans for a pair of white denims and look just as dapper.

Let me know what you think of this look in the comments section below!
